This finally leads for their better living with sustainability and quality of life.   

To reach the unreached with matching supports, services and solutions, Chetana needs your support.

VIASIT OF JCI TEAM TO CHETANA ON 28TH SEPT. 2012.

Dear All

In continuation to the support extended, the team of JCI visited Chetana Special School on 28th Sept. 2012 and discussed various other programmes of JCI for the Children with special needs. 

After discussion, the JCI team has requested for the nominations of the children to participate in its special programmes. The details includes as:

£ Cultural Competitions on 6th October 2012. 

£ Sports & Games on 8th October 2012. 

Chetana is in the process to nominate the children for both the programmes and more will posted on this in due course of time.

FACILITATION FOR THE UTILIZATION OF NIRAMAYA, HEALTH SCHEME OF THE NATIONAL TRUST, NEW DELHI.

Dear All

Chetana is facilitating for the enrollment and utilization of the NIRAMAYA, an Heath Scheme of the National Trust, New Delhi. 

It has already obtained the NIRAMAYA Heath Card for 12 Children and further process is going on to get the same for more such special children.  

It has facilitated to get the reimbursement of the medical expenditure uncured by the card holders. It has successfully got the claim to the extent around Rs. 40 thousand and extended support to get it through the Bank.  In continuation, it could facilitate to get the second claim and the process is going on.

The need based support extended by the Chetana is helping the children to get better medical support by effectively utilizing the support extended by the National Trust by way of NIRAMAYA scheme. This is well appreciated by the Parents and other stakeholders.     

It is looking forward to reach the unreached both for enrollment and utilization................

CHETANA SPECIAL SCHOOL WITH L. V. EYE HOSPITAL, HYDERABAD FOR EYE SCREENING ON 26TH SEPTEMBER 2012.

Dear All

Chetana is facilitating with the Special Olympics Bharat, Hyderabad for getting the benefit to th children with special needs. In this process, is has taken 3 children with vision problem for EYE Screening at L. V. Prasad Hospital, Hyderabad on 26th September 2012. 

After necessary screening, the Hospital has recommended for further follow up including the specialized treatment. The complete cost will be borne by the Special Olympics Bharat.  

Chetana will be continuing this support to reach the unreached children with special needs.

CHETANA SPECIAL SCHOOL SPECIAL OLYMPICS BHARAT ON 21ST SEPT 2012

In continuation to its association, the Children and Parents of Chetana Special School have participated in the Celebrations of the Special Olympics organized by the JCI on 21st September 2012 at Agrasen Bhavan, Hyderabad. The children were participated in the Cultural an other recreational programmes and have been well appreciated by the Organizers, Parents and other participants.

AIDS & APPLIANCES AND EMPLOYMENT FOR THE PWDs

Dear All

Chetana is mobilizing the PWDs to provide Aids & Appliances and Employment Opportunities with the support of Government and other Agencies.

In this direction, it will be organizing mobilization camps in the selected communities and keep open for the registration along with required documents.  

This process helps the Organization to reach the unreached with dynamic link in providing sustainable solutions with quality.

NEED OF SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OF CHETANA

As posted earlier, Chetana needs support from all the stakeholders to cater the needs of the Children with Speical needs both at Institue and Community. 

It is in the process of approaching the Agencies for getting the supprot for the procurement of Vehicle, Grant for running the Special School & Vocational Trianing Centre, services to the targeted groups at their Home / Community and other such needs to their family / community memebrs.

CHETANA IS PLANNING TO CONDUCT MEDICAL CAMP WITH THE SUPPORT OF LIONS CLUB IN SEPT. 2012

Taking the advantage of networking, Chetan is planning to conduct Medical Camp in the month of Sept. 2012 with the support of the Lions Club. 

This works in two ways: one to get the support and another to get the acceptance of disability by the general community. All the readers can avail this opportunity for their children with special children and other family memebrs.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS - 2012

On the eve of Independence Day, on 15th August the National Flag has been hoisted in the School Campis along with the Community. It is participative and helped to be part of the general community so that the acceptance will come automatically. It was thrilling and inspiring. CONTINUATION OF SUPPORT FROM JCI

In continuation to the support of JCI, it has assured to support for conducting another Sports & Games event in the month of Sept. 2012.

It is the good example of the relationship required to make the children with special needs to be part of the community and thus to have the advantage of the development like their normal counterparts.

CHETANA WITH SPECIAL OLYMPICS MEET ON 22ND AUGUST 2012

In addition to the Training and Rehabilitation of the Children with special needs, Chetana has shown keen interest in sports and games. It is with the Special Olympics Bharat unit of Andhra Pradesh and making their children part of its events. 

In continaution, on 22nd of August, it joined in the Meet and made contribution in its review & status. 

It has assured to be aprt of the future evetns in this direction.

ENROLLMENT AND UTILIZATION OF NIRAMAYA-AN HEALTH SCHEME OF THE NATIONAL TRUST, NEW DELHI.

In continuation, Chetana has extended the facilites of enrollment and uitlization of NIRAMAYA Scheme of the National Trust, New Delhi. Many chldren have got the Health Card and some of them have utilized under the way of reimbursement. 

It is in the process of reaching more both for emrollment and utilization.

It is also extending to the children who are not coming to the Special School / Vocational Training Centre.
