CHETANA WITH INNOVATION IN MOBILIZING RESOURCES

Dear All

Chetana is managing all the needy services to the Children with Special needs since its inception in the year 2004. It is going to successfully complete its FIRST DECADE OF SERVICE JOURNEY.

It is  managing all such services / supports from its internal resources which are mainly Members Contributions,  Donations and Loans. It is trying to get the regular support from the Government and Private under CSR.  

In the mean time, though it is old way of mobilizing funds, it has gone with innovation to the Schools / Colleges for several purposes which include:

• Creating Awareness at Schools
• Dissemination through Students
• Identification through Schools / Students
• Preparing Students as Change Makers &
• Inculcating the habit of helping others.  

As a toke of appreciation Chetana is going to distribute Certificate and Memento for the Students.

CHILDREN AT CHETANA NEEDS SCHOOL VAN BADLY

Dear All

Chetana is providing all the needy services on Day Care Basis and mostly depending upon the local transport which is more problematic for the children to travel.   

Its attempts to procure the School Van from some selected agencies has got the limitation and could not get the same. 

Again it is searching for the suitable agency to support for the procurement of School Van so that it can mobilize more  students with better mobility and access.  

The readers either directly or indirectly support the Children with Special needs getting 'training and rehabilitation' at Chetana. 

Chetana will be happy to provide additional information if required....

CHETANA WITH MOBILIZATION OF RESOURCES

In the absence of regular supports for running its projects, Chetana is moving with the mobilization of resources locally. In this search it found that approaching the students at different schools situated in the Districts of Hyderabad and Rangareddy. For that it has developed a novel of Donation Form which gives Information, Services, Supports, Projects and its requirements on one side and the second side contain provision for the students to make the entry of the donor with support. 

It has initiated this approach with the CMR Group of Schools and  process s going on to reach the donors through Students. It helps in two ways one to motivate the students with values and systems and second to develop the confidence with leadership to become the change makers.

NIRAMAYA AT CHETANA

Dear All

Chetana has done commendable work in the process of enrollment and utilization of NIRAMAYA Health Scheme of National Trust, New Delhi. These efforts have been appreciated by the Chairperson of the national Trust at one of the workshop held in Hyderabad. 

In continuation, in the first slot of this year which is going to be ended by the end of this month, Chetana is making every effort in doing the renewal of existing Health Cards and as well new enrollments. 

This has been the positive point with the Parents to be part of the whole process of training and rehabilitation.

Chetana is looking forward to reach the targeted groups both who are with the school or out of the school so that the benefit of NIRAMAYA can be extended with better facilitation both at the stage of enrollment and its utilization.

ADVANTAGES OF CBR AT CHETANA

Dear All

In continuation to the earlier posting made on CBR, Chetana made efforts in reaching the Persons with Mental Retardation and other associated Disabilities at the selected Communities and interacted with the group along with their parents, siblings and community members. 

Knowing their limitations in reaching the Institutes, Chetana has assured to reach them at their community itself with need based serveries and supports.    

This process has been accepted by the members and expressed their readiness to be part of the process so that their children with special needs improves their mobility &access for their daily as well as other needs.    

With this, Chetana is moving forward to reach more such groups both quantitatively and qualitatively.
