CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AT CHETANA LOOKING FORWARD FOR SUPPORTS

Dear All

In view of its concern and commitment for the training and rehabilitation of the children with mental retardation and other associated disabilities, and in absence of support from the Government, Chetana needs support from the industries, agencies, well wishers and other stakeholders so that such children can be reached both quantitatively and qualitatively with matching solutions. 

Chetana will be happy to provide more information in respect of its services and required supports...

CHETANA REOPENS THE SCHOOL ON 12TH JUNE 2014

Dear All

As committed, the management of Chetana has reopened the School on 12th June 2014 with fresh energy and plans. The inmates felt happy to see each other after some gap and could reconnect with sweet memories. 

The parents also felt happy and suggested ways to move forward with better interventions & technologies matching to the skills and needs of the groups      

Looking forward for the better living of the groups with need based solutions.

CHETANA WITH NEW PROJECTS FOR 2014 - 2015

Dear All

As indicated in the last posting, Chetana is planning to continue the following projects as:

• Special School
• Vocational Training & 
• Community Based Rehabilitation. 

In addition, it is continuing its efforts to search for the suitable accommodation for starting Residential Facilities so the parents can avail such facilities and get relief and make way for their children to start leading independent living. This process goes on a long way to get solution for their question of "what will happen to the child after us?"

CHETANA PREPARING FOR THE BEGINNING OF 2014 - 2015

With the summer holidays coming to end, Chetana is preparing to start the Academic Session of 2014 - 2015. It has continued special classes during the summer.
