AWARENESS PROGRAMME BY PARIVAAR CCH HYDERBAD AT CHETANA ON 24TH DEC. 2012

Dear All

As planned earlier, Chetana Special School has organized an awareness programme with the support of PARIVAAR CCH, Hyderabad on 24th Dec. 2012.

The concept of this programme was to address the parents of children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PWIDs) and sharing of their experiences in creating livelihoods for their children. In this direction, Vocational Training based on the skills of the children has got the priority. It was a good gathering with better participation. 

The team of PARIVAAR has been represented by Shri. B Ramajoga Rao, President, Mrs. T Vijaya Lakshmi, Joint Secretary and Shri. N Lakshmi Narayana, Technical Advisor. 

Chetan is supported by  Shri. Tagoor, Secretary, Mrs. Vandana, Principal, Shri Padma Rao, Treasurer (father) and Mr. Kondal Rao, Member (PWIID), Parents and other well wishers.   

The meeting was ended with several suggestions to move forward for the better living of the targeted groups.

PLANNED FOR AWARENESS CAMP BY PARIVAARCCH, HYDERABAD ON 24TH DEC 2012

Dear All

In continuation to its plans of creating awareness among the Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PWIDDs) and their parents, Chetana has networked with the PARIVAARCCH, Hyderabad for getting guidance and support.

In this connection, it was planned to conduct an Awareness Programme at Chetana by the Team of PARIVAARCCH on 24th Dec. 2012.

MEDICAL CAMP AT CHETANA SPECIAL SCHOOL BY LINOS' CLUB OF SECUNDERABAD ON 18TH DEC 2012

Dear All

Asper the plan and earlier posting, Lions' Club of Secunderabad has organized Medical Camp at Chetana Special School on 18th of December 2012. 

It was started at 11.00 am and continued till evening. The team of Doctors covering General, Gynecology and Physiotherapy Services have been provided to the PWDs, Parents and general Public.

On that day, Parallel Bar and Physiotherapy Chair have been donated by the Physiotherapist to the Chetana Special School and assured to extend more support.

It is the beginning with the Lions' Club and will be continued on various areas. The Management of Chetana expressed satisfaction and thanks to the members of the Lions' Club and  requested for continued support.

CHETANA IS PLANNING FOR MEDICAL CAMP IN DECEMBER 2012

Dear All

In addition to its regular activities / programmes conducted for the training and rehabilitation of the children with special needs, Chetana also show keen interest in conducting other supporting programmes / services.

In this direction, it is planning to organized MEDICAL CAMP IN ITS SCHOOL CAMPUS ON 18TH OF DEC. 2012. 

It is the most needy to support for the treatment & care of the medical issues of the children with special needs. 

More will be posted on this after conducting the same.
