CHETANA CONNECTING WITH TATA TRUSTS FOR SUPPORTS

Dear All

In the search and mobilization of resources, Chetana searched for the details and started conceptualization for the need based project.

In the process and will be submitting the Project Proposal for the Skill Development cum Employment to TATA TRUSTS by this week itself.

TELANAGANA NRI FORUM HAS MADE A VISIT TO CHETANA ON 26TH JUNE 2015

Chetana has continued its networking to connect the stakeholders for betting better grandniece and supports for required resources. 

In this direction, a team from Telangana NRI Forum has visited the Chetana Special School and shown keen interest in understanding the whole process of training and rehabilitation. This has motivated the children and staff and enjoyed.

The team consists of: Mr. Ravi Subba, Mr. Venugopal Gumpa, Mr. Naveen Reddy and Mr Raja Kumar S and made some suggestions for mobilizing the resources.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA AT CHETANA ON 21ST JUNE 2015

Chetana has observed the International Day of Yoga at its School and shown demos of some of the simple ways to keep the body fit and concentrate so that they can overcome the limitations of disability with enhanced energy.

PREPARATION OF THE SECOND ISSUE OF THE E NEWS LETTER OF APRIL-JUNE 2015

Dear All

In continuation to its release of first issue of E News Letter of January-March 2015, Chetana is in the process of preparing the second issue of the same for the period of April-June 2015. The same will be posted and released in the first week of July 2015. 

Chetana is in consultation with its members to change the period of E News Letter from Quarterly to Monthly from July 2015.  The idea is to be in touch with its stakeholders very frequently i.e., on monthly basis so that Chetana will have better connectivity. 

This will be decided and posted in this blog mostly in the first week of July 2015.

CHETANA REOPENS SCHOOL ON 15TH JUNE 2015

Dear All

After summer holidays and summer trip to Varanasi, Chetana has reopened the Special School on 15th June 2015 and made a good beginning for the Academic Year 2015-16. 

It was a pleasant environment to meet all the children along with their parents. The children had a time to share the works done during the summer and things made them happy. 

Had discussions with the parents to plan for the academic plan for the year 2015-16 and recorded their suggestions. 

Also discussed about the possibility of starting the residential facilities for a small group in the beginning. It is on the process to start the same at an early date.

ENVIRONMENTAL DAY AT CHETANA ON 14TH JUNE 2015

Dear All

In addition to the regular rehabilitation services, Chetana has shown keen interest to protect the Environment with clean & green and water & sanitation. 

On 14th June 2015, it has conducted the programme of clean and green by planting saplings in its School campus by Guests and Well Wishers. It is assured to continue the same along with water and sanitation in the selected communities.

DAWN TO DUSK MEET OF VASAVI CLUBS INTERNATIONAL AT CHETANA ON 14TH JUNE 2015

Dear All

As posted earlier, the Dawn to Dusk programme of Vasavi Clubs International has been organized at Chetana on 14th June 2015. 

The celebrations went on  well focusing on the social activities / programme what they are conducting since long at their respective jurisdiction.

All the members have shown keen interest in the process of training and rehabilitation done by Chetana for the children with mental retardation and other associated disabilities. 

They have added Chetana as one of their Center for Celebrations and extending supports.

PARENT'S MEET ON 14TH AND SCHOOL REOPENING ON 15TH JUNE 2015

Dear All

Chetana has conducted the parent's Meet on 14th June 2015 and reviewed the situation of their children in general and particularity the way they engaged during the summer holidays. 

The summer holidays were filled with visits to temples, recreational places, relatives & friends and other home activities. It is better social mainstreaming with effective participation and contribution. This has been appreciated by all and expected such support in the future also. 

Also informed to the parents that the school is going to be reopened on 15th June 2015 and  requested to send their child as per the given guidelines.
