In continuation to its efforts, Chetana is developing its own systems, policies, models, methodologies, registrations, exemptions and other such relevant things for developing better service delivery channels matching to the skills, needs and vulnerabilities of the targeted groups.

With the positive impact created among the smaller group, Chetana is looking forward to reach th larger group with better solutions / interventions with sustainability and quality.

BETTER USE OF NIRAMAYA HEALTH SCHEME

Dear All

Chetana works with need based services to its targeted  groups. It always looks for creation and innovation with better participation of the stakeholders. 

In the participative meets held with parents, it was felt to get support for the medical care of their children on priority basis. Tuning to this, Chetana did its best in getting the Health Cards for its Students by enrolling them under the NIRAMAYA Health Scheme of the National Trust, New Delhi and got the same fro 14 students.

Parallel to this, done another service of opening the Bank Accounts in SBI as the benefit of the above health scheme is going to be given in the form of cheque.

Later, facilitated for submitting the medical claims and majority of them are getting the benefit. It is significant to note that the utilization of the scheme is very good and at present some of the health issue of the children have been minimized. Now other parents whose children are coming to the school and others are showing interest to get the same cards. This is one innovation to get better acceptance from the children as well as from their parents/community members.    

Based on this experience, Chetana is looking forward to extend such facilities for more children covering both who are coming to the school and others not coming to the school.   

The parents or well wishers who are reading this message can disseminate for others so that the scheme gets publicity and better utilization.

CHETANA NEEDS SUPPORT

Dear All

The children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (CWIDDs) needs special care along with environment. Chetana is  is putting its best efforts for mainstreaming them after providing the need based training and rehabilitation.  

Chetana is at present handling a small group with limited resources. Tuning to the needs of the children and other groups, Chetana is trying to mobilize resources which includes: acquisition of land & development of infrastructure, school van for transportation, medical care, nutrition, aids & appliances, and other needs. 

Chetana is in process and will be reaching all the stakeholders to get the matching support so that, the group can better better services with sustainable solutions and finally to keep them as part of the community as a contributing member.

Seasonal Greetings from Chetana.......

As posted earlier, Chetana is working for the training and rehabilitation of the persons with mental retardation and other associated disabilities. 

Through this T & R, Chetana could create significant impact among the persons and their family members.  

In this process, Chetana needs support from all the stakeholders so that it can continue the services to the group who has reached and others who needs to be reached.
