In continuation to its services to the Children with Special Needs at Institute, it is planning to organize the event on the need of "Community Based Rehabilitation" on 2nd January 2014 at its School Premises.

Interested individuals with disabilities, their parents/ family/siblings and the well wishers can avail this opportunity  to meet and talk with  Shri. N Lakshmi Narayana, Rehabilitation Professional & Technical Adviser to Chetana.

CHETANA SPECIAL SCHOOL AT EXHIBITION AT SHIPARAMAM, HYDERABAD ON 21 & 22ND DEC 2013

EFFORTS OF CHETANA FOR BETTER VISIBILITY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

In the process of creating better visibility of the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Chetana has raised the voice in enrollment of PWDs for getting Voter Card thus getting the right to choose their choice representative. In addition to the process it has joined the channel of Print Media and given the message and appeal for all the targeted groups to join the process.

LIVELIHOOD PROJECT OF PARIVAAR AT CHETANA SPECIAL SCHOOL, HYDERABAD ON 13TH DEC 2013

Dear All

In continuation to the Awareness Programme conducted by PARIVAAR CCH at Chetana Special School, Hyderabad on 24th Dec 2013, PARIVAAR CCH has approved the LIVELIHOOD PROJECT for the Adults with Mental Retardation of the Chetana Special School.

Accordingly, on 13th Dec 2013, PARIVAAR CCH has supported the Livelihood Project by donating the "Meal Paper Plates Making".

From PARIVAAR CCH, B Ramajoga Rao, President, N Lakshmi Narayana, Technical Adviser & T Vijaya Lakshmi, Joint Secretary has participated in the programme and done the needful in handing over the Machine to the Chetna Special School headed by A. Tagoor, General Secretary & A Vandana, Principal along with the PMRs & their Parents. The National Awardee Sammaiah, Rehabilitation Officer has graced the occasion and given some safety measures.  

On the first day itself 90 Plates have been made by the members and marketed among the parents. 

This is welcome step and Chetana is looking forward to strengthen the Livelihood Activities with the support of PARIVAAR CCH.
