CHETANA IN PREPARATION FOR WOLD DISABLED DAY

Dear All

Chetana is in the preparation to celebrate the WORLD DISABLED DAY with specific objectives. Some of its priority includes:

£ Reach the unreached 

£ Prevention of disability and move towards disability free

   society

£ Improve the Access with barrier free environment 

£ Better opportunities for employment / livelihoods

£ Inclusion at all levels. 

In this direction, Chetana will be organizing awareness / rally and other mode of media to reach the unreached with better solutions.

It will be posting more on this in due course of time.

CHETANA WITH IBR, HBR AND CBR SERVICE DELIVERY MODELS

Dear All

Chetana based on the presently available of resources, is confined to Institutional Based Rehabilitation (IBR) by providing Day Care Services only. It has already made initiations for the HBR.

As the demand for the services and sustainability of the same is quit high, Chetana is planning for CBR mode of service delivery.    

It is planning to utilize this blog forum for posting its service at each and every stage.

With the motivation derived from the production and marketing of Gel Candles on the eve of DEEPAVALI, the team of Chetana is moving forward for higher production based on the needs of X - MAS.

CHETANA NEEDS SUPPORT AND PUBLICITY

Dear All

In continuation to its genesis, vision, mission, objectives and services, Chetana needs support and publicity in reaching its targeted groups. 

Chetana will be reaching the Government, National Institutes, Funding Agencies, and other stakeholders based on the needs of its children for getting matching support. 

In this process, Chetana needs to get the publicity among the stakeholders for reaching the targeted groups and to facilitate them in getting the required services both at Institute and Home. 

Tuning to this, Chetana has started developing Blog and use of technologies. Now, the postings made on this blog and its connection with other E-FORUMS has helped as a reading material as well as to get connected with the stakeholders living all over the Globe.

CHETANA BUSY WITH PREPARATION OF CANDLES FOR DEEPAVALI

In its efforts of making vocational products, Chetana Special School is busy in making several items for the DEEPAVALI Festival. One such product is "GEL CANDLES".

It is making this special item with the participation of the children. This has been shown in the earlier posting and published in the Eenadu News Paper on 9th Nov. 2012.

The children ands their parents are very much happy to see the activity and skills. They all felt happy to be part of this activity and are able to show light and colors to others.  

This is good a beginning and and got motivated to move forward for making such innovative products based on the needs of the people.

Chetana is planning to give wide publicity for such activity and skills, so that other children & parents will come forward for utilizing such facilities.

The genesis and concept of the Chetana Special School is different and got accepted by the community and other stakeholders.
