PREPARATION FOR SEVA MELA 2015 TO BE HELD ON 3-4TH OCTOBER 2015

Dear All

In continuation, the team from Chetana is in the preparation of making several products with innovation and creativity to exhibit at SEVA MELA 2015 to be held on 3-4th October 2015 at Shilparamam, Hyderabad.  

It is also making initiatives to make products from waste which will be eco-friendly. 

The team consists of PWIDDs, Parents, Staff  and Well Wishers and are putting their best efforts in exhibiting their skills with concern and commitment.    

We will be posting more and more in due course of time.  

This group needs guidance and support from you all....

CHETANA PLANNED TO PARTICIPATE IN SEVA MELA 2015 TO BE HELD IN HYDERABAD DURING 3-4TH OCTOBER 2015

Chetana is planning to participate in the SEVA MELA 2015 to be help in Hyderabad during 3-4th October 2015.

This will be an opportunity for Chetana to display the products made by the Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PWIDDs). 

It has participated in the SEVA MELA 2014 and   made a presentation on Creation of Livelihoods for PWIDDs.

CHETANA WILL BE ATTENDING REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON ACCESSIBLE INDIA CAMPAIGN ON 14TH SEPT 2015

Chetana will be attending the following Regional Workshop and its details are: 

Regional Conference on Accessible India Campaign at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh likely to be held on September 14, 2015 at 

Indian Institute of Chemical Technology: CSIR, IICT, Tarnaka, Hyderabad

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has conceptualized the “Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan)” as a nation-wide flagship campaign for achieving universal accessibility that will enable persons with disabilities to gain access, provide equal opportunity and independent living and participate fully in all aspects of life in an all inclusive society. 

The campaign targets at enhancing the accessibility of built environment, transport system and Information & communication eco-System. 

More on this will be posted after attending the same.

BIRTH DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 5TH SEPTEMBER 2015
